Live Maui Beach Cam — Kihei
HD view over Charley Young Beach, South Maui · 24/7
Live feed from Charley Young Beach, Kihei, Hawaii · If the stream stalls, refresh the page.
About the view
You are looking west over Charley Young Beach, a small sand cove tucked between Kalama Park and the
Kamaole beaches in Kihei. On a clear day the silhouettes on the horizon are the island of Kahoʻolawe
and the crescent crater of Molokini. Mornings tend to be glassy; the wind picks up most afternoons and
the surface gets textured.
From November through April this stretch of South Maui coastline is one of the best free spots to watch
humpback whales breach and slap their tails. Sunsets sit low on the water most of the year.
What you might see
- Whales (Nov – Apr) – humpback breaches offshore, best in the morning
- Sunsets year-round to the west of frame
- Surfers & SUPs when there is south swell
- Beachgoers on any warm day, sea turtles occasionally in the shallows
- Storm surf during winter south-shore swells
