We’re located directly across from Kihei’s most popular beaches, Kamaole I, II and III. You’re within short walking distance to the best beaches, local restaurants, pubs, shopping, convenience stores and natural food market.
Kamaole beaches offer pristine views, sea turtles, dolphin and whale watching, boogie boarding and great snorkeling for both beginner and experienced alike. Lifeguards are located on the beach for your peace of mind. Kihei Akahi resort complex is highly sought after and has a loyal following of visitors who return year after year – knowing the location is ‘No Ka Oi ‘ or simply the best!

Our gourmet kitchen features a suite of brand new Samsung stainless appliances, gas stove and cookware – everything for outfitting a chef’s kitchen. Go grill up that fresh caught Mahimahi or Opakapaka! You’ll find a Nutri-bullet for fresh island fruit smoothies, coffee grinder, Cuisinart food processor, electric kettle, French Press coffee pot, sharp cutlery, all the essentials and then some. We provide more than just basic salt & pepper in the spice cupboard. You’ll find a variety of gourmet, organic spices to enhance your culinary delights.

Relax and Unwind
You’ll find our condo updated with all new zero VOC paint, Pergo floors, furniture and linens. Our home is tastefully decorated in soothing island decor and colors to ensure you relax and enjoy your vacation. The new pull out deluxe, queen sofa-bed boasts a comfy 8.5 inch pillow-top mattress and no annoying bar! Ocean breezes and island trade winds cool the condo but if you need, we’ve installed a brand new air conditioner and have ample floor fans as well as ceiling fans. Shhh… no one will tell if you find yourself nodding off for an afternoon nap with the palm trees rustling in the island breeze.
Convenient and well equipped

You’re provided with an ensuite washer and dryer for added convenience. Having a washer/dryer means you can pack less. Flat screen TV with available Roku and HD Cable for relaxing after a long day exploring or beach combing. You’ll find the fastest available WIFI to keep you connected, and offer free calls to the Mainland and Canada and 34 other countries. Listen to some island music on the Bluetooth stereo system. USB charging ports are an absolute necessity so we’ve provided 3 charging stations. If you’re ready for a technology break we’ve provided board games, books and playing cards. Or just stretch out and catch yourself that much deserved nap!

Our condo is one of only a handful of the highly desirable and sought after walk out lanai units! Our coveted ground floor home features a generous walk-out garden lanai with dining table and seating for 4. There’s no railing to restrict you to a tiny lanai space, go get your toes in the beautiful manicured lawn or walk to smell the tropical flowers! Enjoy your morning coffee al fresco in the garden while listening to the birds sing and start their day or sip a glass of wine as you wind down from a busy day of beach play or island exploring.

Kihei Akahi resort complex proudly maintains our beautiful gardens and manicured grounds. There’s nothing quite like bare feet in the soft grass with the smell the tropical flowers while listening to the palms rustle in the ocean breeze. Perfect for families or limited mobility. Our unit is located in preferred building ‘D’, quiet, away from the hustle and bustle and road noise yet close to the beach and steps to the pool. We’re situated near the end of the building, away from the elevators and foot traffic. We’re perfectly positioned facing west to take advantage of island breezes and catch the trade winds!

Just a few hundred yards away is Kamaole II beach and park. It’s a ritual to make our favorite adult beverage each evening and walk to the beach to take in the glorious sunsets.

We’re pleased to offer our guests our fully stocked supply of beach gear. You’ll have Tommy Bahama chairs, Tommy Bahama beach umbrella, sand-free beach mat, beach towels, sand-free beach bag, boogie boards, various snorkel gear, coolers with ice packs and a beach wagon to easily carry all your gear across the street to the beach!

About Kihei Akahi
Kihei Akahi is an oasis to come home to for quiet relaxation after a day out on the island. Perfectly located directly across from the ocean and miles of gorgeous beaches, there are 6.5 acres with lush and well maintained gardens. Two pools each with BBQ area, picnic tables, tennis court and free parking. The upper pool is considered an ‘oasis’ and is within just a few steps of our lanai.

Reservation Terms

• All Rates subject to 14.42% Hawaiian State Transient Accommodation Tax/General Excise Tax
• $350 refundable Security Deposit
• 50% Deposit is due at time of booking
• Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to arrival
• Payment is due in full for bookings made with less than 60 days to arrival.
• All rates and taxes are subject to change. Rates are per condominium, not per person
• Maximum 4 person occupancy (including infants/children)
• Minimum age of primary renter 24
• Stays of 28 days or greater require a mid-stay cleaning(s) by our housekeeping staff (included)
• The primary guest (and owner of the credit card securing reservation) must be at least 24 years of age on the day of check-in
• NON-SMOKING unit. No smoking, No eCigarettes, No vaping.

Cancellation Policy

• For cancellations greater than 60 days prior to arrival, the balance of your payment will be refunded less a cancellation fee equal to one nights stay.
• For cancellations less than 60 days prior to arrival NO REFUND will be given.
• Refunds will be given only for mandatory evacuations as decreed by State of Hawaii and/or Maui County.
We strongly recommend travel insurance.
