Enchanting! This property has a view of one of the most unbelievable waterfalls on the Hamakua Coast. There is a private trail down to the stream and pond, at the bottom of the waterfall, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the huge pool as the water cascades into it.
There are currently three separate structures on the property. The main house includes a great room, kitchen, and separate laundry room (there are no permits for the laundry room), loft space above the great room, bathroom and pantry, plus a separate, master bedroom suite with 1/2 bath. There is also an attached lanai off the great room. There is a separate 256 sq. ft. tea house with front deck which is currently being used as a guest cottage. It also has 1 bath(the bath is not permitted). Also included is the \"waterfall cabin\" which is permitted as a garden shed. Located just steps from the viewing platform for the waterfall - this is a perfect meditation retreat.
This property has gated fencing with paddocks ready for your animals.
In addition, there is a large greenhouse, a 600 W solar array and 400 W wind generator along with 8 large battery storage bank and an automated diesel generator. Owners used computers with high speed Internet and also powered a TV, stereo, refrigerator, freezer, washer and dishwasher. The stove is propane and the dryer is also gas.
Catchment water tank is 10000 gallons and services the home. There is also a separate 1500 gallon stainless steel tank that collects spring water for drinking water.
The property has many ornamental flowers, shrubs and trees as well as about 15 varieties of bamboo, and over 60 mature fruit trees including bananas, coffee, citrus, avocados, lychee, locquat, brazilian plum, fig, mountain apple and more. Everything has been planted and nurtured organically and with deep love for the land.
There are also 2 natural ponds which could be turned into water features. They are located close to the Tea House.
